Portal crane is non-linear MIMO (multi input / multi output) dynamic system with variable parameters. Portal crane consists of several subsystems, which are to take affect by: crane crab, servo-drive and gear-box. Portal crane is controlled by various algorithms state control (quadratics optimal control, robust control and modal control).
